Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable network architectures (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls).
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, access points, and security appliances.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedural guides.
- Respond to and resolve network-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure network infrastructure adheres to security policies and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical network support as required.
- Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions to enhance system capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to foster a collaborative learning environment.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
- Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco or Juniper networking equipment.
- Solid understanding of network security principles, firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, FortiGate), and VPN technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and fault isolation techniques.
- Demonstrable experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) in a networking context.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS certification.
