Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive land surveys for various projects including construction, infrastructure, land development, and environmental assessments.
- Operate and maintain modern surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, laser scanners, and levels.
- Accurately collect, process, and analyze spatial data using specialized software.
- Prepare detailed survey plans, maps, reports, and legal descriptions in compliance with Canadian standards and regulations.
- Establish and verify property boundaries, easements, and rights-of-way.
- Perform topographic, control, and construction layout surveys with precision.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure project success.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and industry best practices in the field and office.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior surveying staff as required.
- Maintain meticulous records of survey data, calculations, and fieldwork observations.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency in land surveying principles, methodologies, and practices.
