Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in and successfully complete comprehensive training programs covering all facets of modern gunsmithing.
- Under direct supervision, perform routine maintenance, thorough cleaning, and detailed inspections of various firearms.
- Assist in accurately diagnosing malfunctions and performing foundational repairs on a wide range of firearm types and models.
- Learn to proficiently use specialized tools, precision machinery, and advanced equipment for metalworking, woodworking, and parts fabrication.
- Develop expert skills in the complete disassembling, accurate assembling, and safe reassembling of firearms.
- Thoroughly study and strictly adhere to all local, provincial, and federal regulations and laws pertaining to firearms.
- Maintain an impeccably clean, highly organized, and exceptionally safe work environment, rigorously following all established safety protocols.
- Provide skilled assistance to senior gunsmiths on more complex repairs, custom modifications, and bespoke builds.
- Accurately document all work performed, meticulously record parts utilized, and precisely track time spent on each project.
