Career.zycto is seeking a passionate and driven Entry-Level Fashion Designer to join our innovative team in Hopkinsville, KY. This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to gain invaluable hands-on experience and contribute to exciting new collections.

As an Entry-Level Fashion Designer, you will work closely with our experienced Senior Designers and creative directors, learning the entire design process from concept development to final production. You’ll have the chance to apply your theoretical knowledge to practical challenges, contributing fresh ideas and helping to shape the aesthetic direction of future lines.
Your role will involve assisting in trend research, identifying emerging styles, fabrics, and color palettes that align with our brand identity. You’ll develop your sketching and digital rendering skills, translating initial concepts into detailed technical flats and mood boards. We’ll guide you through material selection, understanding fabric properties, and collaborating with our product development team to ensure design integrity and manufacturability. This position offers a fantastic platform to develop a comprehensive understanding of the fashion lifecycle, sharpen your technical skills, and build a strong portfolio within a supportive and collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Designers in the research and development of new fashion concepts, trends, and themes.
- Contribute to the creation of mood boards, color palettes, and fabric selections.
- Prepare detailed sketches, technical flats, and specifications for garment production.
- Support in the selection and sourcing of materials, trims, and embellishments.
- Collaborate with the pattern making and sampling teams to ensure design accuracy and fit.
- Participate in fittings and provide feedback for design adjustments.
- Maintain organized design files and assist with administrative tasks related to the design process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies in fashion design.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for fashion design.
- Strong manual sketching and illustration abilities.
- Solid understanding of garment construction, textiles, and design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
