Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of garment alterations, including hemming, resizing, tapering, and mending, with exceptional precision.
- Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines, sergers, and other specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
- Execute custom sewing projects, such as creating new garments, textile products, or intricate embellishments based on client specifications and design briefs.
- Conduct fittings with clients, accurately taking measurements and pinning garments to ensure a perfect fit.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations, making any necessary adjustments.
- Manage and organize workspace, including inventory of materials and tools, to maintain a clean and efficient environment.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects, offering expertise and support to achieve collective goals.
