Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior buyers in market research, trend analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify new product opportunities.
- Support the entire product lifecycle from initial concept to launch, including sample management and quality control.
- Prepare and analyze sales data, inventory levels, and customer feedback to inform purchasing decisions.
- Help manage vendor relationships, including initial outreach, communication regarding orders, and issue resolution.
- Generate and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of merchandise.
- Monitor product performance, report on key metrics, and suggest strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to ensure cohesive product strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Participate in negotiations for pricing, terms, and delivery schedules under supervision.
