Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement augmented reality applications for various platforms (iOS, Android, potentially desktop/web) using Unity3D.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and 3D artists to translate concepts into compelling AR experiences.
- Optimize AR applications for performance, stability, and compatibility across a range of devices and operating systems.
- Research and integrate the latest AR technologies, SDKs (ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia, etc.), and industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, robust, and scalable solutions.
- Contribute to the full development lifecycle, from initial conceptualization and prototyping to deployment and post-launch support.
- Document technical specifications, architecture, and development processes effectively.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in augmented reality, mixed reality, and related fields.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in C# and extensive experience with Unity3D development.
- Demonstrable experience developing and deploying AR applications using ARKit and/or ARCore.
- Strong understanding of 3D graphics, computer vision, and spatial computing concepts.
- Experience with 3D model integration, animation, and optimization for real-time applications.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related technical field.
- Experience with other AR/VR SDKs (e.g., Vuforia, Wikitude, OpenXR, Magic Leap, HoloLens).
- Familiarity with other programming languages such as C++ or Python for specific tooling or backend integration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for backend services or data storage.
- Portfolio showcasing previous AR projects, demos, or contributions.
- Knowledge of real-time rendering pipelines and shaders.
