Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior HR Project Manager to join our Human Resources team in Dubai. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading and managing complex HR projects from inception to completion, driving innovation, and ensuring successful implementation across the Group. The Senior HR Project Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing our HR operational efficiency, optimizing talent management processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with HR leadership, various business units, and external vendors to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in project management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices and technology. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end HR projects, including but not limited to HRIS implementations, talent management initiatives, compensation & benefits reviews, and organizational development programs.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and escalating concerns as necessary.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and prepare regular reports for HR leadership and executive management.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success, identify lessons learned, and recommend future improvements.
- Stay abreast of HR technology trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, advising on potential impacts and opportunities for the Group.
- Mentor and guide junior project team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies throughout project execution.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in HR Project Management, preferably within a large, multinational organization.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex HR projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and processes, including talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits, HRIS, and organizational development.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in HR or Business Administration.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other recognized project management certification.
- Experience with HRIS implementations (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
- Familiarity with the luxury retail or FMCG industry in the Middle East.
