Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly meticulous and dedicated Proofreader to join our dynamic team, specifically catering to our English-speaking client base. This pivotal role ensures the impeccable quality, accuracy, and consistency of all our written communications, spanning a diverse range of materials from client proposals and candidate profiles to marketing content, internal documents, and website copy. As a guardian of our linguistic standards, you will be instrumental in upholding Career.zycto’s reputation for professionalism and excellence in every interaction.

In today’s fast-paced recruitment environment, clarity, precision, and error-free communication are not just desirable; they are paramount. Every word, every comma, and every sentence reflects directly on our brand, our commitment to our clients, and our respect for our candidates. Your expert eye will serve as the final line of defense against grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation inaccuracies, and stylistic inconsistencies, ensuring that all outgoing communication is not only error-free but also aligns perfectly with our stringent brand voice and tone guidelines. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including recruitment consultants, marketing specialists, and administrative staff, providing essential feedback and implementing corrections with diplomacy, efficiency, and a deep understanding of the source material’s intent.

This role is ideal for an individual with a native-level command of the English language, an exceptional grasp of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary, and an almost obsessive attention to detail that extends beyond mere error detection. You will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, managing multiple proofreading assignments simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines in a dynamic office environment. Familiarity with different style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago, or an established in-house guide) and the ability to adapt your approach to specific requirements will be a significant advantage. Beyond merely spotting and correcting errors, you will be expected to offer constructive suggestions for improving readability, flow, and overall impact, contributing significantly to the professional polish and strategic effectiveness of all Career.zycto outputs. We are looking for someone who doesn’t just correct, but elevates the quality of our content to an exemplary standard. Join us in our mission to deliver outstanding service, starting with flawless communication that builds trust and fosters success.
