Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Six Sigma Analyst to join our dynamic team in Newtonbrook, Toronto. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in identifying, analyzing, and improving existing business processes to meet new goals and improve overall quality and efficiency for our diverse client base. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about leveraging data to solve complex problems and drive significant operational enhancements.

As a Six Sigma Analyst, you will lead and support various process improvement initiatives from inception to completion. You will be responsible for applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) or DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify), to identify root causes of inefficiencies, reduce waste, and minimize defects. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing client satisfaction, increasing productivity, and achieving cost savings across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate Lean Six Sigma projects, applying DMAIC/DMADV methodologies to solve complex business problems.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, root causes of inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and implement robust solutions that optimize processes, reduce variation, and enhance quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on the effectiveness and sustainability of implemented changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels to ensure successful project execution and adoption of new processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings, recommendations, and project results to management and clients.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and coaching to promote a culture of continuous improvement and Six Sigma principles within the organization.
  • Conduct process mapping, value stream mapping, and other analytical techniques to visualize current states and design future state processes.
  • Ensure all improvement initiatives align with organizational strategic goals and deliver measurable business impact.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Six Sigma Analyst or similar role (minimum 4 years).
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, R, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated project management abilities, including planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Management, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile or other modern project management methodologies.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and business intelligence tools.
