Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Technical Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Gaborone. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary technical point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of our most strategic enterprise clients. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving the adoption and success of Orange Botswana’s advanced telecommunications and IT solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of key enterprise clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Understand client's business objectives and technical requirements to effectively position and articulate the value of Orange Botswana’s solutions.
- Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and discussions with clients, translating complex technical concepts into clear business benefits.
- Collaborate with internal sales, engineering, product, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
- Proactively identify and address potential technical challenges, escalating critical issues and managing their resolution to client satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on retaining existing business, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and fostering client growth.
- Monitor service performance and customer satisfaction, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to act as a credible technical advisor to clients.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, or Senior Pre-Sales role within the telecommunications or IT services industry.
- Proven track record of managing and growing relationships with large enterprise clients.
- Deep technical understanding of networking (IP/MPLS, SD-WAN), cloud services, cybersecurity, and unified communications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, PMP).
