Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine client needs and formulate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized, strengths-based treatment plans collaboratively with clients.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic).
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and facilitate referrals to external resources when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and wellness practices.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and professional ethical guidelines.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Louisiana.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Demonstrated expertise in various therapeutic modalities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a diverse client population, including adolescents and adults.
