Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
  • Perform efficient check-ins and check-outs, accurately processing all necessary paperwork and payments.
  • Answer guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding services, local attractions, and general information.
  • Manage reservations, including making new bookings, modifying existing ones, and handling cancellations.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
  • Handle cash and process credit card transactions accurately.
  • Provide local recommendations for dining, entertainment, and transportation.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance) to fulfill guest requests.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, policies, and promotions.

Required Skills

  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or service-oriented role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and experience with Property Management Systems (PMS).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience with hotel reservation software (e.g., Opera, Fosse).
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
