Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our operational team in Likhoele, Mafeteng. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe flow of goods within our distribution network. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the warehouse, from receiving raw materials and finished products to their accurate storage and timely dispatch. Your expertise will directly impact inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and ultimately, customer satisfaction. You will lead a small team, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts, physical inventory verification, and reconciliation.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Implement and enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to enhance efficiency and accessibility.
  • Operate and oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory, process orders, and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, production, and sales departments to ensure seamless operational flow and meet delivery targets.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance and reduce operational costs.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and team performance for management review.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse coordination or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Sesotho.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles in a warehouse setting.
  • First Aid and advanced safety training certifications.
