TotalEnergies Zimbabwe is seeking a dedicated and experienced Car Wrap Installer to join our growing automotive service team in Filabusi, Matabeleland South Province. As a Car Wrap Installer, you will be instrumental in enhancing vehicle aesthetics, promoting brand visibility, and protecting vehicle surfaces. Your day-to-day will involve everything from detailed surface preparation, precise vinyl cutting using templates or plotters, to the flawless application of graphic films and protective laminates. You will be responsible for ensuring a bubble-free, wrinkle-free, and perfectly aligned finish on every project, maintaining the highest standards of quality and durability. This role demands an exceptional eye for detail, a steady hand, and an unwavering commitment to superior craftsmanship. You will work with various types of vinyl materials, understanding their unique properties and application techniques to achieve stunning and long-lasting results.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, degreasing, and removing old decals/wraps to ensure optimal adhesion.
- Accurately measure, cut, and trim vinyl graphics using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Apply vinyl wraps, decals, and graphics to vehicles (cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles) with precision, ensuring bubble-free and wrinkle-free finishes.
- Utilize heat guns, squeegees, and other specialized tools to achieve seamless application.
- Inspect finished wraps for quality, ensuring alignment, adhesion, and overall aesthetic appeal meet high standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the installation process, such as air bubbles, wrinkles, or misalignments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cared for.
- Manage inventory of wrapping materials and communicate needs for replenishment.
- Provide excellent customer service, advising clients on wrap care and maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines during installations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in vehicle wrapping or vinyl installation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying various types of vinyl films (cast, calendared, reflective, textured).
- Expertise in surface preparation, cutting, trimming, and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to different vehicle types and wrap designs.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to tool handling and chemical use.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a reputable vinyl wrap training program (e.g., 3M, Avery Dennison).
- Experience with graphic design software for minor adjustments or proofs (e.g., Adobe Illustrator).
