Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Write, optimize, and review high-performance SQL queries and PL/SQL code for data manipulation, reporting, and application logic.
- Conduct thorough database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system response times and resource utilization.
- Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders, system architects, and other development teams to gather requirements, analyze data needs, and translate them into detailed technical specifications and database designs.
- Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Develop and maintain robust Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using Oracle tools or custom scripts to facilitate data integration and warehousing initiatives.
- Implement and enforce data integrity, security, and backup/recovery strategies to protect sensitive information and ensure business continuity.
- Provide timely and effective technical support, debugging, and resolution for Oracle database related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for database designs, schema definitions, code logic, and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Oracle Database versions (e.g., 12c, 19c) and related tools.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for complex query writing and stored program unit development.
- Extensive experience with database design, data modeling, and normalization techniques.
- Proven ability in database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git) and SDLC best practices.

Preferred Qualifications
