Job Description

Are you a highly analytical individual with a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights? Bralirwa Plc is seeking a dedicated and proactive Data Analyst to join our team in Rwamagana. In this full-time analytical role, you will be instrumental in supporting various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, by providing robust data analysis and reporting. This position offers a unique opportunity to delve into large datasets, identify trends, forecast future outcomes, and contribute directly to strategic business decisions that drive our market leadership.

As a Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our data-driven initiatives, working with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into clear, insightful reports and dashboards. You will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from collection and cleansing to analysis, interpretation, and presentation. Your expertise will help us optimize our operations, understand consumer behavior better, enhance sales performance, and identify new growth opportunities within the competitive beverage market. This role requires a blend of strong technical skills, critical thinking, and excellent communication abilities to effectively convey complex findings to non-technical audiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources (sales figures, market data, production metrics, etc.).
  • Perform in-depth data analysis using statistical methods and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical models to support business units (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and relevant teams in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies through data analysis.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices in data analysis and reporting tools.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and present actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant analytical field.
  • Experience with statistical programming languages (R or Python) for advanced analytics.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and predictive modeling techniques.
