Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of global and local energy markets, including supply-demand dynamics, pricing trends, and geopolitical influences.
- Develop, maintain, and refine complex energy models (e.g., forecasting, optimization) to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Evaluate the economic, technical, and environmental viability of various energy projects, including renewables, conventional power, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze relevant energy policies, regulations, and technological advancements, assessing their potential impact on market conditions and business strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation, clearly communicating complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate energy analysis into broader project deliverables and client solutions.
- Support the development of proposals and client presentations, demonstrating expertise in energy economics and market intelligence.
- Stay abreast of emerging industry best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical tools and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Environmental Science, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in energy analysis, market research, or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel (advanced), Python, R, SQL, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of energy commodities, markets (electricity, natural gas, oil), and sustainability principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to conduct independent research, synthesize information, and draw actionable conclusions.
