Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort packages according to precise destination codes, size specifications, and handling requirements, ensuring minimal errors.
- Manually load and unload packages from trucks, trailers, and conveyor belts, adhering strictly to safety protocols and proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs regularly).
- Utilize handheld scanners to accurately update package tracking information and maintain real-time inventory records.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment as necessary, following thorough training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to optimize operational flow and prevent workplace hazards.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety regulations, procedures, and policies to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members and supervisors to ensure seamless package flow and meet daily operational targets.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations and contribute to team success.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
