Job Description
Are you a meticulous analytical thinker with a passion for optimizing complex operations, and do you thrive in an environment that offers flexibility? Aguia Pesca Limitada is seeking a dedicated and proactive Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team in Vilankulo, Inhambane Province. This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the efficiency and resilience of our seafood supply chain, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of our premium products from the moment they are caught to their final destination. In the dynamic world of fishing, our supply chain faces unique challenges including seasonality, perishable goods management, and navigating diverse logistical landscapes, making this role both critical and intellectually stimulating.
As our Supply Chain Analyst, you will be instrumental in analyzing vast datasets related to inventory levels, procurement, transportation, and distribution. Your insights will drive strategic decisions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, minimize waste, and improve our overall responsiveness to market demands. You will identify bottlenecks, propose innovative solutions, and implement best practices across our supply chain, directly impacting our ability to deliver fresh, high-quality seafood. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with various departments, including operations, finance, and sales. The “Flexible Hours” aspect of this role acknowledges the often unpredictable nature of the fishing industry; while you will have core responsibilities, we offer the agility to manage your schedule to best suit both personal needs and business requirements, perhaps adapting to peak fishing seasons or critical analytical periods. This position offers a chance to make a tangible impact, contribute to sustainable practices, and grow within a leading Mozambican enterprise dedicated to excellence and community development. If you are ready to apply your analytical prowess to a vital industry and shape the future of seafood logistics in Mozambique, we encourage you to apply.
