Job Description
Are you a master of audio storytelling with a passion for creating captivating sonic experiences? Career.zycto is seeking a talented and self-motivated Podcast Producer to join our fully remote team. As a key player in our content creation division, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, developing, and producing high-quality podcasts that engage our target audience. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full podcast production lifecycle, including ideation, research, scriptwriting/outlining, recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.
- Manage episode timelines, ensuring all content is produced and delivered on schedule and to a high standard of quality.
- Conduct interviews with guests, providing clear direction and fostering engaging conversations.
- Oversee sound design, selecting appropriate music, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance the listener experience.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to develop promotional strategies for new episodes and series.
- Maintain and organize audio assets, project files, and production documentation.
- Stay current with podcasting trends, technologies, and best practices to continually elevate our audio offerings.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional podcast production experience
- Expert proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or Pro Tools
- Demonstrated ability in audio editing, mixing, and mastering techniques
- Strong storytelling and scriptwriting abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guest management and team collaboration
- Proven organizational and project management skills, particularly in a remote setting
- Access to a professional-grade home studio setup (microphone, headphones, acoustic treatment)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Film, Music Production, or a related field
- Experience with video editing or motion graphics for podcast promotion
- Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms and RSS feed management
