You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our comprehensive SEO strategy, ensuring our digital content ranks high on search engines and reaches our target audience effectively. This includes conducting thorough keyword research, optimizing website content and meta tags, managing backlink profiles, performing technical SEO audits to improve site health and crawlability, and staying abreast of the latest algorithm updates from major search engines. Simultaneously, you will take charge of our social media channels, crafting compelling and engaging content that resonates with our diverse customer segments. This involves developing monthly content calendars, writing captivating copy, sourcing or creating visuals, and managing community engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and potentially others relevant to our audience. You will execute targeted social media campaigns, monitor conversations, respond to inquiries, and foster a strong online community presence that aligns with MCB’s brand values and messaging.

This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills. You will continuously monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of both SEO and social media initiatives, utilizing tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and social media analytics dashboards. Your insights will be crucial in refining strategies, optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI, and identifying new opportunities for growth. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with content creators, product development teams, customer service, and other marketing specialists to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and to integrate digital marketing efforts with broader business objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and technical SEO audits.
  • Optimize website content, meta descriptions, and tags for search engine visibility.
  • Manage and improve backlink profiles and local SEO efforts.
  • Create and execute engaging social media content strategies and campaigns across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Develop monthly social media content calendars and ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with the online community, and respond to comments/messages.
  • Analyze SEO and social media performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and social media best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, product, customer service) to align digital marketing initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Identify new digital marketing opportunities and recommend strategies for growth.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in SEO (on-page, off-page, technical SEO)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation for business
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (Creole is a plus)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Creativity and an eye for compelling visual and written content
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Project management skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
