We are currently expanding our dynamic and dedicated team by seeking a Customer Service Agent to join our fully remote Contact Centre. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our members receive timely, accurate, and friendly assistance across various inquiries, helping them navigate their financial journey with confidence. Your ability to connect, empathize, and efficiently resolve member concerns will be key to enhancing their experience and reinforcing their trust in Servus Credit Union. You will be instrumental in addressing inquiries related to account management, online banking support, loan and mortgage applications, general product information, and troubleshooting any service issues. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide accurate information and solutions regarding Servus Credit Union products and services, including accounts, loans, mortgages, and digital banking.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve member issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate internal teams when necessary.
  • Process transactions and service requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Educate members on how to utilize online banking tools and other self-service options.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all member interactions and transactions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the member experience and suggest relevant products or services.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Actively participate in remote team meetings and training sessions to foster a collaborative environment.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong active listening skills and ability to empathize with members.
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and software applications simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service or call center role.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry.
  • Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
