Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload, sort, and organize incoming merchandise from delivery trucks.
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain inventory levels on the sales floor according to store planograms and freshness standards.
- Ensure aisles are well-organized, clean, and free of obstacles for customer safety and accessibility.
- Monitor product expiry dates and assist with proper rotation and removal of expired or damaged goods.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment safely and responsibly (training provided if necessary).
- Assist customers with locating products and provide friendly, helpful service when approached.
- Perform general clean-up duties, including sweeping, wiping shelves, and breaking down cardboard.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and management to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
