Guinness Nigeria Plc is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level POS (Point of Sale) Support Technician to join our team in Agbara. As an Entry-Level POS Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our POS systems across various sales and distribution channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for POS hardware and software, including terminals, printers, scanners, and payment devices.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and deployment of new POS systems and peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to POS functionality, connectivity, and performance through remote or on-site assistance.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or relevant departments when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on POS equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Document all support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to POS users on system operation and best practices.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and IT teams to identify and implement system improvements.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, security protocols, and operational procedures.
