Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily, weekly, and monthly net asset value (NAV) calculations for a portfolio of investment funds.
- Perform cash and portfolio reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings.
- Learn and utilize industry-standard accounting software and financial tools.
- Collaborate with senior fund accountants and other departments to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, gaining exposure to critical accounting cycles.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and analysis as required, contributing to continuous process improvement.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
- Develop a strong understanding of various financial instruments and fund structures.
- Adhere to internal controls and compliance procedures, ensuring regulatory adherence.
