Key Responsibilities
- Manually load and unload cargo from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Sort, organize, and stack various types of cargo according to designated procedures and space optimization.
- Verify cargo against shipping documents for accuracy, reporting any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Ensure all cargo is properly secured, braced, and protected to prevent damage during transit or storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the terminal at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company and industry safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assist in conducting inventory counts and stock rotation as required to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize loading/unloading processes and meet tight deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proven physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly (up to 50 lbs or 23 kg).
