Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards, including mise en place.
- Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen at all times.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the Head Chef.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of ingredients.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Contribute to menu development and special promotions as requested.
- Adhere strictly to portion control and waste reduction guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Cook or similar role in a busy restaurant.
