Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools to ensure consistency and repeatability.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of production environments.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate new features, resolve technical challenges, and improve software delivery processes.
- Champion and implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle and infrastructure management.
- Automate operational tasks, scripting in Python, Bash, or similar languages to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotation to address critical production incidents and ensure rapid resolution.
- Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to enhance our DevOps capabilities and overall system architecture.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Demonstrated expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Solid scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Deep understanding of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for a remote team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, CKA)
- Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies
