As a Junior SOC Analyst, you will be on the front lines of our defense, responsible for monitoring security alerts, investigating potential threats, and contributing to the overall security posture of our organization and our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems and other security tools for alerts and anomalies.
  • Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents, determining their nature, scope, and potential impact.
  • Document and report security incidents, including detailed findings, analysis, and recommended remediation steps.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of security monitoring rules, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and other IT teams to ensure timely resolution of security issues.
  • Contribute to vulnerability management activities, including scanning and reporting.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, routers)
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and command-line interfaces
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
