Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior editors with various post-production tasks, including footage ingestion, organization, and archiving.
  • Perform basic editing tasks such as cutting, trimming, and assembling raw footage into coherent sequences.
  • Synchronize audio and video tracks, clean up audio, and apply basic sound enhancements.
  • Create and implement lower thirds, basic graphics, and simple motion graphics.
  • Transcribe interviews and content for subtitle creation or logging purposes.
  • Ensure all project files are correctly named, stored, and backed up according to established protocols.
  • Research and select appropriate music, sound effects, and stock footage.
  • Prepare project files for review, export various video formats, and ensure quality control.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new editing techniques, and software advancements.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, taking feedback constructively and iterating on edits.
  • Manage project timelines efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
  • Basic understanding of video editing principles and post-production workflow
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
