Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior editors with various post-production tasks, including footage ingestion, organization, and archiving.
- Perform basic editing tasks such as cutting, trimming, and assembling raw footage into coherent sequences.
- Synchronize audio and video tracks, clean up audio, and apply basic sound enhancements.
- Create and implement lower thirds, basic graphics, and simple motion graphics.
- Transcribe interviews and content for subtitle creation or logging purposes.
- Ensure all project files are correctly named, stored, and backed up according to established protocols.
- Research and select appropriate music, sound effects, and stock footage.
- Prepare project files for review, export various video formats, and ensure quality control.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new editing techniques, and software advancements.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, taking feedback constructively and iterating on edits.
- Manage project timelines efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Basic understanding of video editing principles and post-production workflow
