Career.zycto is excited to announce a rewarding opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled Airline Pilot to join a prominent airline partner based out of Fort Rouge, Winnipeg. This full-time position invites dedicated aviation professionals to take command, ensuring the safe, efficient, and comfortable transport of passengers and cargo across various routes. As an Airline Pilot, you will be an integral part of an operations team committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service. You will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art aircraft, utilizing your expert knowledge of flight systems, navigation, and weather patterns to execute flawless flights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies, procedures, and aviation regulations.
  • Perform pre-flight checks, including aircraft inspection, weather analysis, and flight plan review.
  • Execute take-offs, landings, and en-route procedures with precision and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with Air Traffic Control, ground crew, and cabin crew.
  • Monitor aircraft systems, fuel consumption, and navigational equipment throughout the flight.
  • Collaborate effectively with the First Officer and cabin crew to ensure smooth operations and passenger comfort.
  • Complete all necessary flight documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Adhere to all Transport Canada regulations and company safety standards.
  • Continuously update knowledge of aviation practices, regulations, and aircraft systems.
  • Handle unexpected situations or emergencies with sound judgment and according to established protocols.

Required Skills

  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with frozen ATPL for First Officer roles.
  • Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours for First Officer, with significant multi-crew and multi-engine turbine experience.
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Proficiency in English (ICAO Level 4 or higher).
  • Strong understanding of aviation weather, aerodynamics, and aircraft systems.
  • Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Transport Canada (TC) regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Type rating on relevant aircraft (e.g., Boeing 737, Airbus A320 series).
  • Previous experience with a major airline or regional carrier.
  • Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) or experience as a Line Training Captain.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or a related field.
