Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware (desktops, laptops, printers) and software (OS, MS Office Suite, business applications) issues.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic LAN/WAN issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems, including Active Directory.
- Document all support requests, resolutions, and system configurations accurately in the ticketing system.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software, and participate in IT-related projects as needed.
- Educate users on best practices for IT security and efficient use of technology.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on more complex technical issues and infrastructure improvements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
- Experience with server administration (Windows Server) or virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and endpoint protection.
- Previous experience in a corporate IT support role with 250+ users.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework.
