Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with clear, concise, and reproducible steps.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and deployment.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to an Agile development process.
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data for various features and functionalities.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Advocate for quality best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Continuously research and evaluate new testing tools and technologies to improve our automation capabilities.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in QA Automation Engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
- Extensive experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
