Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily delivery and sales calls on an established route, ensuring consistent service to all assigned accounts.
- Actively sell and promote new products and services to existing customers, achieving monthly sales targets.
- Identify and solicit new potential customers within the assigned territory to expand the customer base.
- Maintain accurate inventory control on the delivery truck and manage product rotation to minimize waste.
- Process orders, invoices, and payment collections accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the company vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in route sales, direct sales, or customer service roles.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the day.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in basic math and ability to handle cash and payment transactions.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with handheld devices or mobile sales applications.
