Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and process air waybills (AWBs) and other essential shipping documentation accurately.
  • Perform data entry for shipment information into our tracking and management systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, air carriers, and internal departments regarding shipment status, schedules, and requirements.
  • Assist in coordinating cargo pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
  • Maintain organized physical and digital files for all shipments and related paperwork.
  • Track and trace shipments, providing updates to relevant parties as needed.
  • Verify compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
  • Assist senior clerks and managers with various administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues affecting cargo movement and work towards resolution.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an office administrative role (non-logistics specific experience is welcome).
  • Familiarity with logistics software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Basic understanding of international trade terms (Incoterms).
  • Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish or Arabic, are a plus.
