Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced carpenters with various tasks on construction sites, including framing, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Learn and apply proper safety procedures and protocols for tool usage, equipment operation, and site conduct.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment, including material handling, waste removal, and tool inventory.
- Measure and mark materials accurately according to blueprints or instructions.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision, learning correct and safe usage.
- Participate in the installation of structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, walls, and flooring.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other trades.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various construction tasks.
- Perform general labor duties as needed to support the overall project.
