Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries and issues via chat, email, and phone with professionalism and empathy.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, and expediting correction or adjustment.
- Document all customer interactions and transactions accurately in the CRM system.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies consistently.
- Go the extra mile to engage customers, build sustainable relationships, and trust through open and interactive communication.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings and adhere to service level agreements (SLAs).
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to de-escalate difficult situations.
- High level of empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency with common computer applications and ability to quickly learn new software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or HND in a relevant field.
- Previous experience working in a remote customer service role.
- Experience in a call center or BPO environment.
- Fluency in additional Nigerian languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa).
