As a Vegetable Harvester, you will be at the heart of our operations, directly involved in bringing fresh, high-quality produce from our fields to the tables of local families. Key Responsibilities
- Harvesting a variety of vegetables by hand or using simple tools, following quality standards and instructions.
- Sorting, cleaning, and packing harvested produce directly in the field or at a designated packing area.
- Operating and maintaining basic farm equipment and tools safely.
- Assisting with planting, weeding, watering, and other field maintenance tasks as needed.
- Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations and procedures.
- Working collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Reporting any issues with crops, equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
