Key Responsibilities

  • Assist line cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized.
  • Support in the plating and garnishing of dishes under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
  • Monitor and stock inventory levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper rotation.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of food items.
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently after receiving appropriate training.
  • Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen clean-up at the end of shifts.
  • Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Follow instructions from chefs and supervisors diligently and with a positive attitude.

Required Skills
