Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot complex HVAC system malfunctions in residential settings.
- Execute repairs, replacements, and installations of various HVAC components and complete systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers).
- Conduct preventative maintenance on residential HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Educate homeowners on system operation, maintenance tips, and recommend appropriate solutions or upgrades.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
- Manage truck inventory, tools, and equipment efficiently and responsibly.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Residential HVAC Technician.
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- NATE certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
