Career.zycto is actively seeking dedicated and vigilant Night Shift Production Workers to join our thriving team in Laval, Montreal. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Perform routine quality checks on products at various stages of the production process, identifying and reporting any defects.
- Load and unload materials and products from production lines, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production targets are met.
- Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting as required.
- Document production data and complete necessary reports accurately.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistently during night hours (e.g., 10 PM – 6 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery operation.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor machine adjustments.
