Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are kept spotless.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware manually or using dishwashing machines.
- Receive and store deliveries, rotating stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Support the kitchen team in setting up and breaking down workstations for daily service.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
- Assist with waste management, including composting and recycling.
- Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management to ensure efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and coordination.
