Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform assembly tasks, quality checks, and packaging of finished products.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, as well as moving products within the facility.
- Follow production schedules and instructions from supervisors to meet output targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Learn and adapt to new production techniques and machinery as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistently on weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods
- Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety protocols and a clean work environment
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site in Hull, Gatineau
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with production machinery and tools
