Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to individuals, respecting their dignity, privacy, and independence.
  • Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, shopping, and household tasks.
  • Support individuals to access community facilities, engage in social activities, and maintain relationships.
  • Help implement and review individual care plans, ensuring they meet the evolving needs and preferences of service users.
  • Administer medication in accordance with company policies and relevant training, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date records of care provided and any significant observations.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship, promoting a positive and stimulating environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, safeguarding policies, and CQC regulations.
