Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to individuals, respecting their dignity, privacy, and independence.
- Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, shopping, and household tasks.
- Support individuals to access community facilities, engage in social activities, and maintain relationships.
- Help implement and review individual care plans, ensuring they meet the evolving needs and preferences of service users.
- Administer medication in accordance with company policies and relevant training, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date records of care provided and any significant observations.
- Offer emotional support and companionship, promoting a positive and stimulating environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, safeguarding policies, and CQC regulations.
