Job Description

This includes meticulously checking cargo against manifests, ensuring proper packaging, and strategically arranging items within vans and trucks to maximize space and prevent damage during transit. You’ll be responsible for verifying product codes, quantities, and ensuring that all items are securely placed to withstand the rigors of transportation. Working closely with our dispatch and delivery teams, you will communicate effectively to streamline the loading process, resolve any inventory discrepancies, and proactively identify potential issues before they impact delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles with various products.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and manifests for accuracy.
- Organize and stack items within the warehouse and on delivery vehicles to optimize space and prevent damage.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members.
- Report any damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly (up to 50 lbs or 23 kg).
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
