Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both internal and external, ensuring all areas are secure.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, responding promptly to any suspicious activity or alerts.
- Control access to the site, verifying identities and managing visitor logs during night hours.
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances in accordance with company procedures.
- Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, daily logs, and handover notes.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, reporting any hazards or defects.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and emergency services when required.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years or older with the legal right to work in the UK.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent observational abilities and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly disciplined with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts and as part of a team when needed.
- Basic computer literacy for report writing and system monitoring.
- Physical fitness to undertake regular patrols and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to obtain an SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence if not already held (support/guidance may be provided).
