Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in a structured training program to learn marine mechanical systems and repair techniques.
  • Assist senior marine mechanics in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various marine engines (outboard, inboard, stern drive).
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and general inspections.
  • Learn to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
  • Assist with the repair and maintenance of marine electrical systems, propulsion systems, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly as part of the learning process.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance mechanical skills and knowledge.
  • Provide excellent customer service by clearly communicating service updates and recommendations under supervision.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in marine technology.
