Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a structured training program to learn marine mechanical systems and repair techniques.
- Assist senior marine mechanics in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various marine engines (outboard, inboard, stern drive).
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and general inspections.
- Learn to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
- Assist with the repair and maintenance of marine electrical systems, propulsion systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly as part of the learning process.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance mechanical skills and knowledge.
