Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Automation Engineer to join our innovative team in Poplar Springs, Meridian. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain robust automation scripts and systems for various applications (e.g., testing, deployment, infrastructure provisioning).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, QA) to understand requirements and integrate automation into existing workflows.
- Perform root cause analysis for automation failures and implement corrective and preventative measures.
- Optimize existing automation frameworks and processes for improved performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated systems, including design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies, tools, and best practices, evaluating their potential application within Career.zycto's projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on automation methodologies and tools.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in automation engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, C#).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and concepts (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud automation tools.
