Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and sweeping/mopping floors.
- Stock and organize inventory, ensuring all ingredients and supplies are stored correctly.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as dishwashers and mixers.
- Support the culinary team during service by ensuring workstations are continually prepped and clean.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Dispose of waste and recycling properly.
- Assist with receiving and checking deliveries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management to ensure smooth operations.
